چکیده
Thin graphene oxide (GO) film layers are being widely used as sensing in different types of electrical and optical sensor devices. GO particularly popular because their tuned interface reflectivity. The stability is fundamental for device reliability, complex aqueous environments such wastewater. In this work, the layer-by-layer (LbL) films polyethyleneimine (PEI) was investigated. results led to following conclusions: PEI/GO grow linearly with number bilayers long adsorption time kept constant; kinetics a layer follow behavior polyelectrolytes; interaction associated growth these ionic type since desorption activation energy has value 119 ± 17 kJ/mol. Therefore, it possible conclude that suitable application fiber devices; most importantly, an fiber-based interrogation setup can easily be adapted investigate situ via thermally stimulated process. addition, draw inferences about solution fast, reliable way when compared traditional ones.

An Optical Fiber Displacement Sensor Using RF Interrogation Technique
We propose a novel non-contact optical fiber displacement sensor. It uses a radio frequency (RF) interrogation technique which is based on bidirectional modulation of a Mach-Zehnder electro-optical modulator (MZ-EOM). The displacement is measured from the free spectral range (FSR) which is determined by the dip frequencies of the modulated MZ-EOM transfer function. In experiments, the proposed ...

Analysis concept of gaseous or liquid media using porous silicon multilayers with optical sensing is presented. The sensor consists of optical filter with λ/4 layers, fabricated by electrochemical etching in HF/ethanol. The optical system is tested with ampicillin and shows a linear dependence with increasing ampicillin concentration. For general sensing applications the influences of porosity ...

Pitch-based graphene oxide (p-GO) whose compositional/structural features are comparable to those of graphene oxide (GO) was firstly produced by chemical exfoliation of pitch-based carbon fiber rather than natural graphite. Incorporation of p-GO as nanofillers into poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) as a matrix polymer resulted in excellent mechanical reinforcement. p-GO/PMMA nanocomposite (1 wt....

The influence of graphene oxide (GO) over the features of an optical fiber ethanol sensor based on lossy mode resonances (LMR) has been studied in this work. Four different sensors were built with this aim, each comprising a multimode optical fiber core fragment coated with a SnO₂ thin film. Layer by layer (LbL) coatings made of 1, 2 and 4 bilayers of polyethyleneimine (PEI) and graphene oxide ...
